WHERE DOES YOUR JOURNEY LEAD?

This message is currently on the sign at the MCC Church in Elizabethtown, KY.
First of all, the fact that there is an MCC Church there is amazing. When I was growing up in KY it was a very different time. This journey home to Kentucky reunited me not only with family, but old friends and surprised me by leading me to seeing people I hadn't thought about for over 20 years. I ask myself the bigger question, what is my journey? What have I been doing with my life up to this trip to Kentucky? And where do I go now?
My journey: From illness earlier this year to wellness by my birthday to awareness in this moment.
Where do I go now? I stay right where I am. A woman from Africa said to us years ago when she spoke at AGAPE Church, "Bloom where you are."
